Planting a Forest Garden at The Oak Tree

On Saturday a group of enthusiastic volunteers, including members of Transition Ipswich and the local SGI Buddhist Group, planted the first trees of The Oak Tree Forest Garden. It was a lovely day, and great fun thanks to the good humour and hard work of everyone involved. Thank you all!

The Oak Tree in the snow

This was just taken on my phone. It was cold today, but I managed to harvest nonetheless! And it was pretty :)

The Oak Tree Christmas Wreaths - £12 each

It is the first day of advent, and so I started making fully biodegradable wreaths from The Oak Tree today. The frame is made from biomass willow, the greenery and pinecones are all local (the oranges didn't come from Suffolk though ;) If you would like one please do get in touch, or come and buy one from the Ripple Food Coop
